Frequently Asked Questions Q1.Is Jaguar Land Rover still working to the Ford Component Specification ES-XW7T-1A278-AC? A1. No. All new contracts must use JLR-EMC-CS at the latest issue. Q2. Do Jaguar Land Rover still require components to be tested in an AEMCLRP accredited laboratory? A2. The AEMCLRP programme has ceased but the laboratory must be on the JLR or Ford list. All laboratories in the future will need to be on JLR list as there are additional tests to those required by Ford. Q3. If a component meets all of the requirements contained in ES-XW7T-1A278-AC will it be accepted for use by Jaguar Land Rover? A3. No. All components must meet the JLR requirements. Q4. If a component meets all of the requirements contained in EMC-CS-2009 will it be accepted for use by Jaguar Land Rover? A4. No. All components must meet the JLR requirements.
